What is it in man that gives him the ability to love? Regardless of nationality, sexual preference, political creed, we all can love. We all have the innate ability to find someone or something more important than ourselves, and make that the point of our lives. Whether it be a family, a religion, or a social calling, we as humans can achieve that single greatness -- the ability to rise above ourselves through love.

I feel like the following is a universal truth. If we devote ourselves to something greater than ourselves, we can never be harmed. True, our physical bodies may perish. However, by giving ourselves entirely to something we survive through its survival. Faith -- in it may we all survive unharmed. In faith may we all serve our fellow man. In faith may I be of service.
